This project aims to develop a microfluidic platform for studying human proteins, particularly focusing on post-translational modifications and chromatin methylation. The goal is to enhance understanding of cellular processes related to disease and differentiation.
There are several bottlenecks that hinder certain aspects of proteomics, in particular, incompatibility of high throughput technologies with certain protein types or modifications, low sensitivity and lack of quantitative data.
