Guidetti's MRP project revolutionizes metal recycling by replacing traditional blade systems with high-durability hammers and centrifugal drums. This new technology significantly increases metal recovery rates and reduces maintenance costs and energy consumption.
Metal recycling has not experienced any significant progress since blade-based systems were implemented.
This system involves downtimes every 8 hours to sharpen the blades and blade´s replacement every 24 working hours, high maintenance costs and, in many cases, metal recovery rates that barely reach 70%.
