This research develops new methods for modeling and controlling complex systems, particularly in power networks. By integrating stochastic hybrid systems, it aims to enhance understanding of interactions between continuous and discrete dynamics, addressing uncertainties in power supply and demand.
We propose novel methods for modelling, analysis and control of complex, large scale systems.
Fundamental research is motivated by applied problems in power networks.
We adopt the framework of stochastic hybrid systems (SHS), which allows one to capture the interaction between continuous dynamics, discrete dynamics and probabilistic uncertainty.
