The MorphoLADs project investigates the three-dimensional organization of the genome, focusing on Lamina-Associated Domains. It aims to create an atlas of these domains in different cell types to understand their role in gene regulation and cellular function.
The three-dimensional organization of the genome is emerging as a critical regulator of nuclear functions.
But we are only beginning to define the diverse nuclear morphologies of different cell types and understand their cell-specific functions.
