This research project investigates the historical impact of European colonialism on antisemitism in Muslim societies, particularly in relation to the formation of Arab nationalism. It aims to explore how foreign ideologies influenced local prejudices and inter-religious relations.
European colonialism in Muslim societies represented a turning point for the powerful European influence that was widespread throughout the Middle East.
With European Jews acquisition of land in Palestine, Arab nationalism started to incorporate antisemitic ideology into their texts and discourses.
