MOMENDO aims to deepen the understanding of endometriosis, a chronic inflammatory disease affecting many women. By utilizing advanced experimental methods, the project seeks to uncover the molecular mechanisms behind the disease, ultimately leading to improved treatments with fewer side effects.
Endometriosis (the presence of endometrial-like tissue or ‘lesions’ outside the uterus) is a chronic inflammatory disease affecting 6-10% of reproductive age women.
