This project aims to understand the mechanisms driving the invasion of malignant melanoma cells. By investigating the roles of specific proteins in cell migration, it seeks to identify new therapeutic targets to hinder cancer spread and improve treatment strategies.
Malignant melanoma is highly invasive and metastatic resulting in a major clinical problem in management of the disease.
The aim of this project is to gain a better understanding of mechanisms of cell migration to identify novel therapeutic targets to block invasion.
