This project explores the design of new organocatalysts using a modular approach to enhance synthetic efficiency. It aims to identify key chemical units responsible for catalysis, drawing inspiration from natural enzymes to improve reaction mechanisms.
The selective catalysis by conventional and simple organic molecules, despite of its simplicity, has created an extraordinary impact on chemistry.
