MODCOMP focuses on advancing carbon fiber-based materials for high-performance applications in various industries such as transport and construction. The project aims to enhance the properties of these materials through innovative surface modification techniques while ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability.
Current technological demands are increasingly stretching the properties of advanced materials to expand their applications to more severe or extreme conditions, whilst simultaneously seeking cost-effective production processes and final products.
