The MOD-ENP-TOX project focuses on developing a new platform for predicting the toxicity of metal-based nanoparticles. It combines computational modeling with innovative screening strategies to create a tool that can assess the risks associated with these materials effectively.
MOD-ENP-TOX project is a multidisciplinary project aiming to accomplish the following objectives: (i) to develop a novel and rational “Modelling Assay Platform (MAP)” which can be used as a « Risk Indicator » tool to predict the toxicity of metal-based NPs (MeNPs), and (ii) to demonstrate the feasibility of a MAP prototype – on a shortlist of MeNPs - which can be further developed to screen the toxicity of a large number ENPs.
