MIRA aims to enhance remote collaboration by creating multimodal proxies that replicate the tactile and sensory qualities of physical objects. This project combines human-computer interaction with materials science to develop tools that improve virtual interactions.
Digitally replicating the tactile, spatial, and multisensory qualities critical for interacting with physical objects remains an unsolved complex problem.
