Mimbly has developed the Mimbox, a device that connects to washing machines to capture microplastics and reduce water and energy consumption. It features self-cleaning filters and is designed for industrial washers, aiming to mitigate pollution and comply with environmental regulations.
Microplastics are a huge source of pollution in our seas, with up to 1.5 million tons being released per year.
