MIMAS aims to advance ultrafast laser technology by achieving unprecedented pulse energy and peak power through innovative amplification techniques. The project focuses on creating a compact system that enhances laser performance for various scientific and medical applications.
Ultrafast lasers, which allow the concentration of light in space and time, have been instrumental in revolutionizing industrial production technologies, medical applications and cutting-edge fundamental research.
