This project utilizes weather radar technology to study bird migration patterns across Europe, analyzing their behavior in relation to weather conditions and topography. It also incorporates data on insect migration to provide a comprehensive view of migratory dynamics.
Migration is a wide-spread phenomenon which allows animals of many different taxa to take advantage of seasonal variation in resource abundance .
