This project combines molecular imprinted polymers with electrospun nanofibers to create innovative materials for biomedical applications. It focuses on developing nanofibers that can serve as carriers for active agents, membranes for proteomics, and components for biosensors.
Molecular imprinted polymers and electrospun nanofibres are both hot topics individually in the biomedical sciences, with applications including tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, drug release, affinity chromatography and biosensors.
