Microsonic focuses on improving the safety of aircraft through advanced monitoring of composite materials used in their construction. The project aims to develop new methods for detecting damage in these materials, enhancing the reliability and performance of aircraft as air traffic increases in Europe.
The EU is a world leader in the transport industry, especially aviation.
It is predicted that the number of flights in Europe will increase to 13 million in 2028, 2.6 times more than those in 2020.
