The MICRO4BEE project seeks to address the decline in bee populations by developing a sustainable product to combat bacterial diseases affecting honeybees. Utilizing beneficial bacteria, the product aims to provide a safe alternative to current methods of hive management.
With 630.000 beekeepers and 16 millions of hives, the apiculture sector is an important part of the EU agriculture.
