This project analyzes the dynamics of rural-to-urban and international migration in developing countries, focusing on how these movements affect urbanization and human development. It aims to provide insights for policy-making in migration and urban planning.
Large scale rural-to-urban migration and associated urbanization in developing countries constitute an opportunity but also a risk for human development.
In either case, urbanization may lead to increased international migration.
