This project investigates how various processes coordinate during the development of lateral organs in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. It combines advanced imaging techniques with transcriptomics to understand the regulatory mechanisms behind organ positioning, gene expression, and growth patterns.
The coordination of cellular behaviour that results in development involves the synchronization of many distinct patterning processes. A prime example of coordination at different levels is the process of lateral organ development.
