MetaMagic aims to advance soft magnetoactive materials for applications in robotics, sensors, and energy harvesting. The project focuses on developing new metamaterial systems with unique properties, integrating theoretical modeling and experimental validation to enhance performance in various technologies.
Due to striking advantages such as rapid response and reversible change in the shape and properties under remotely applied magnetic fields, soft magnetoactive materials have become an attractive material platform for human-technology interfaces, soft robotics, actuators and sensors, and biomedical devices.
