This project aims to reconstruct the metaphysical system of the Daodejing using mereological analysis. By exploring the relationships between fundamental elements of Daoist thought, it seeks to provide a clearer understanding of Daoist philosophy and its implications for contemporary metaphysical discussions.
The project is a mereological reconstruction of the metaphysical system in the Daodejing.
The general motivation for the project is to fill the gap in Chinese and comparative philosophy the state of the art, where mereological as well as analytic reconstructions are scarce.
