The MEET project aims to create a collaborative network for training researchers in mitochondrial medicine, focusing on the biological mechanisms of mitochondrial diseases. It combines expertise from basic and translational research to enhance understanding and treatment of these conditions.
The expanding diversification and specialization of knowledge and the growing complexity of contemporary research in translational research warrant the creation of cooperative multi-disciplinary networks including both basic and medically oriented expertise.
