Medusa is a new geotechnical testing device designed to assess the stability of tailings dams in mining. It offers a quick and reliable method to identify risks of liquefaction, aiming to enhance safety standards in mining operations.
Tailings dams used in mining to collect waste of production in huge ponds are extremely risky in case of collapse.
