MedPub investigates the evolution of publishing practices in Western Europe from 1000 to 1500, focusing on how Latin authors disseminated their works. The project aims to understand the changing strategies of publication in response to social and technological developments during the medieval period.
Without written transmission, the communication of any learned topic from ancient and medieval times, from theology and philosophy to medicine, science and history, would be snapped and broken.
