MEDINA enhances the monitoring of coastal ecosystems in Northern African countries, focusing on fish stock resources. The project employs a scientific and technology transfer approach to implement pilot studies, utilizing satellite observations and in-situ data to support environmental policy implementation.
MEDINA is designed to enhance Northern African Countries’s monitoring capacity of their coastal areas ecosystems, including fish stocks resources, and consequently their capacity to implement environmental policies, conventions and protocols.
