This research focuses on understanding how mechanical forces affect neuronal function and health. By studying the mechanics of cells in response to physical stimuli, the project aims to develop strategies to mitigate damage in neurons associated with neurodegenerative diseases.
Mechanical forces are ubiquitous signals that provide critical and dynamic information about the environments around cells and organisms.
