This project focuses on developing new diagnostic and treatment technologies for invasive Aspergillus fumigatus infections. It aims to create specific tracers for early diagnosis and effective therapy, improving outcomes for immunocompromised patients at risk of severe infections.
The development of novel technologies to diagnose and clinically treat invasive Aspergillus fumigatus infections is the scope of this research consortium. A. fumigatus is a ubiquitous mould whose spores are airborne and thus frequently inhaled.
