This project focuses on developing novel radiolabeled molecules for use as PET (Positron Emission Tomography) tracers, specifically targeting cannabinoid receptors. The goal is to create tools for brain imaging and enhance understanding of cannabinoid-related processes.
The development of innovative technology for the introduction of PET-radionuclides (18F, 11C, etc.) in organic compounds, as well as the identification of new radiolabeled molecules suitable for being used as PET tracers is one of the priorities in the areas of Applied Chemistry and Medical Technologies.
