MAP-STROKE aims to create a molecular map of human ischemic stroke by integrating various biological data to identify novel biomarkers. This project seeks to enhance personalized medicine in stroke treatment and improve understanding of stroke pathophysiology.
Stroke is a leading and increasingly important cause of death and disability in the EU.
Yet, we have only few effective treatments and an unsatisfactory understanding of human stroke pathophysiology.
