The project organizes annual conferences to discuss the future of the European manufacturing industry, focusing on sustainable development and the role of small and medium-sized enterprises. It aims to identify gaps in research and innovation support through collaborative discussions with key stakeholders.
Promoted by the MANUFUTURE platform and the DG research of the EC, an annual conference is hosted since 2003 by the country of the EU presidency.
