The MagStents project develops innovative stents made from soft polymers and magnetic nanoparticles to improve cardiovascular interventions. These stents are flexible, biocompatible, and can be adjusted non-invasively using an external magnetic field, addressing limitations of traditional stents.
Cardiovascular diseases represent a critical global health challenge, affecting millions through the obstruction of blood vessels.
