This project focuses on creating human 3D neuromuscular organoids to better understand neuromuscular disorders. By applying mechanical and brain-like stimuli, the research aims to enhance the maturation of these organoids for studying diseases such as spinal and bulbar muscular atrophy.
*Neuromuscular disorders, whose incidence and prevalence have increased over time have currently no cure, and understanding their pathological mechanisms remains challenging due to the lack of reliable human in vitro models.
