This project investigates how our minds and brains represent the world through cognitive maps and graphs. By using advanced neuroimaging and virtual reality, it aims to explore individual preferences for these representations and their implications for cognition and culture.
How do our mind and brain represent the world?
In this project, I propose that cognitive maps and cognitive graphs are two fundamental representational formats supporting our physical (space and time), conceptual (taxonomic and thematic knowledge), and cultural (individualism and collectivism) cognition.
