This project focuses on developing soft magnetoactive materials that can change properties under magnetic stimuli. By designing composites with engineered microstructures, it aims to enhance performance while minimizing the required magnetic field for applications in sensing, energy harvesting, and robotics.
Soft magnetoactive materials can change their properties and undergo extremely large deformations when excited by magnetic stimuli.
These reconfigurable soft materials hold great potential for a large variety of applications from sensing devices to energy harvesting, noise and vibration mitigation, and soft robotics.
