This project focuses on developing advanced magnetic filtration systems to enhance fluid management in industrial applications, particularly in lubricant filtration for metalworking. The aim is to create a prototype that captures and recycles fine particulates, improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Scope of proposed research include the sustainable design and development of advanced magnetic filtration systems and modelling of their behaviour that will assist to achieve a step change in fluid management technology used in industrial lubricant filtration systems, for example metalworking and washing process.
