This project develops advanced computational techniques to model complex astrophysical phenomena, focusing on three-dimensional simulations of accretion and ejection processes. It aims to enhance understanding of astrophysical jets and magnetosphere interactions using high-resolution magnetohydrodynamic models.
Many astrophysical phenomena involve highly nonlinear processes which take place on vastly different length- and time-scales: therefore, the modeling of complex astrophysical scenarios necessarily require a time-dependent multiscale approach.
The objective of this project is to develop and employ High Performance Computing techniques to solve problems of astrophysical relevance.
