The MACROHIST project aims to enhance the training of young economists by integrating economic history with modern macroeconomic techniques. It connects various academic departments to provide students with insights into historical economic events and their relevance to current macroeconomic issues.
The current macroeconomic and financial crisis has given rise to a vigorous debate about the state of macroeconomics and macroeconomic training.
