The project aims to enhance damage detection in structures using guided wave propagation and optimization techniques. It will develop a numerical tool to improve the positioning of sensors and actuators for better sensitivity to damage.
The goals of the call will be achieved by means of a “multilevel” approach, combining local damage propagation mechanisms with guided waves propagation modeling, and designing a dedicated optimization methodology aimed at finding the best
