The MAC-TFC project aims to develop a compact, low-power caesium atomic clock that operates on AA battery power while achieving high timing precision. It focuses on miniaturizing the clock's components and optimizing performance through innovative technologies and design.
Atomic clocks provide enhanced accuracy, stability, and timing precision compared to quartz-based technologies.
