The LUMINOS project aims to develop compact mid-infrared laser sources for various applications, including laser surgery and molecular sensing. It focuses on creating a high-intensity femtosecond laser amplifier that operates in the 2.1 µm range, enhancing the efficiency of mid-infrared parametric amplification.
