This project focuses on developing a competitive shore power supply system for cruise ships, allowing them to use electricity while docked instead of fuel. This reduces emissions and supports urban growth near ports by promoting cleaner air initiatives.
The main objective of this project is to supply and demonstrate a competitive shore power supply also called Onshore PowerSupply (OPS) related to providing electricity for cruise ships when docked in port. OPS installations saves consumption offuel and eliminates the air pollution associated with the use of fuel.
