The LOCOMACHS project aims to streamline the assembly process of composite materials in aerospace. By eliminating non-value-added operations, it seeks to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs through innovative technologies and improved design practices.
The continued use of composite materials in the aerospace industry has been addressed in several past research projects which have focused on new design solutions and composite manufacturing processes.
