This project investigates the role of lipopolysaccharides from ruminal bacteria in the development of subacute ruminal acidosis in dairy cows. By comparing these with lipopolysaccharides from E. coli, the research aims to enhance understanding of ruminal fermentation and its impact on animal health and dairy industry p…
Subacute ruminal acidosis (SARA) is a well-recognized digestive disorder of high yielding dairy cows that has a negative impact on both animal health and herd profitability.
