The LiRichFCC project is investigating a new class of battery materials that store energy through a novel mechanism involving lithium ions. This research aims to optimize these materials for high energy and power density applications, potentially transforming energy storage solutions.
The LiRichFCC project will explore an entirely new class of materials for electrochemical energy storage termed “Li-rich FCC” comprising a very high concentration of lithium in a cubic dense packed structure (FCC).
