This project focuses on improving the design of low-rise buildings to withstand soil liquefaction during earthquakes. It aims to develop a framework for assessing liquefaction effects, enabling more cost-effective and resilient construction methods for residential properties.
Soil liquefaction during earthquakes has been a problem of great concern in earthquake engineering for more than half a century.
