The LIMA project seeks to integrate liquid biopsies into clinical workflows for better cancer diagnosis and treatment monitoring. By combining genetic analysis of tumor DNA with advanced imaging techniques, it aims to enhance understanding of tumor behavior and therapy responses.
LIMA’s overall objective is to develop and validate technologies and tools to include liquid biopsies in the clinical workflow, aiming at introducing a more precise and dynamic genetic characterization of tumor at the diagnosis and during treatment phases.
