This project focuses on tracking individual T cells to understand how different subsets arise and function. By utilizing genetic reporter systems, it aims to map T cell life histories and their responses to antigens, providing insights into immune regulation and potential applications in immunotherapy.
T cells display many different phenotypes and functions, depending on the nature of previously encountered signals.
If we want to understand how these different T cell subsets arise, we need to be able to follow individual T cells and their progeny through time.
