LEARN-UCJ explores social learning for urban climate justice in Latin America, focusing on vulnerable communities in Bogotá and Mexico City. The project aims to foster collaboration among stakeholders to develop equitable urban policies addressing climate change impacts.
Latin America (LA) stands out as the world's most urbanized, unequal, and one of the most disaster-prone regions.
Its vulnerability to climate change is rapidly increasing, disproportionately affecting impoverished communities in an intersectional manner.
These communities contribute the least to Greenhouse Gas Emissions, do not benefit of economic growth, and are excluded from policy making.
