This project explores a novel receiver technology for satellites that processes signals without traditional down-conversion, significantly reducing costs and complexity. The innovation aims to improve satellite communications and enhance the competitiveness of European space technology.
The objective of the feasibility study is to explore and assess the technical feasibility, and the commercial potential of the company's, award-winning and highly-disruptive invention: a novel Ku-band receiver for space applications.
For the first time, the innovation will allow satellites to directly process signals up to 18 GHz completely removing the need for any traditional, analogue, RF down-conversion.
