This research investigates how social interactions among plants influence their reproductive strategies. By examining kin recognition and cooperation, the project aims to understand how these factors affect plant fitness and population dynamics.
Although social interactions in non-sentient beings such as plants might seem unlikely, there are good reasons to expect them to be important.
